After 2 months working in NUS, I chanced upon this insightful article by Prof Walter Woon thanks to a tweet from NUS CIT. It describes his personal experience of pivoting this teaching approach due to COVID and how much better technology can and has enhanced the learning experience for his students.
The flexibility provided by not having to physically congregate in a lecture room can translate into all sorts of enriching experiences. These should ideally be student-led.
Prof Woon reminds us not to abandon lessons learnt from COVID, i.e. the limitless possibilities of borderless & collaborative education.
Move forward, not backwards. To infinity & beyond!
